Jordan’s Top 10 Most Anticipated Movies of 2018

With 2017 behind us and 2018 upon us, it’s time to look ahead to another year of movies. Here are the ones I’m most looking forward to.

10. 15:17 to Paris

An interesting idea of matching director Clint Eastwood with the real life heroes of the terrorist attack playing themselves. The trailer is a bit iffy, but I still have hopes for the movie.

9. Mowgli

I wasn’t all that interested in another Jungle Book adaptation until I saw all the talent involved and heard it would be a darker take.

8. Black Panther

It definitely looks like a different kind of Marvel movie. It remains to be seen how good that makes it.

7. Ready Player One

A really interesting looking story portrayed by probably my favorite director. I’m in.

6. The Predator

A reboot of one of the best ’80s action movies directed and written by Shane Black is hard not to be excited about.

5. A Quiet Place

This trailer looks fantastic and seems like a really cool premise. I’m interested to see how the movie turns out.

4. Deadpool 2

The first one was a blast, and I have no doubts this will be more of the same.

3. Solo: A Star Wars Story

I’m very worried this will not live up to expectations and will ruin the character. But I can’t not be excited for a Star Wars movie.

2. Sicario 2

Sicario is one of the best films of the year that comes out and while this one loses the director, it still looks like it has a similar feel.

1. Avengers: Infinity War

The culmination of all the Marvel movies and a combination of all the heroes. It looks epic and I can’t wait.

  1. I thought the trailer for 15:17 to Paris was very inspiring. I’m hoping Clint will direct a Western next. How about a Good, Bad, and the Ugly sequel to finish his career?

Yes, with Shane Black, I am hoping for a worthy sequel!

    1. Jordan says:

I would love for him to direct a western. Especially since it has been a while since we haven’t had a really good western in a long time. And thanks for pointing out the typo. It has been fixed
