Michael B. Jordan Signs On for Adaptation of Tom Clancy’s Without Remorse

Michael B. Jordan has signed on to portray John Clark, another character in the “Jack Ryan” universe, in an adaptation of the Tom Clancy book Without Remorse. That isn’t even the most exciting news of this story, even as great an actor as he is. Taylor Sheridan, who has written some of the best films of the decade (Sicario, Wind River, Hell of High Water) is attached to write the adaptation with Stefano Sollima (Sicario: Day of the Soldado) directing with a Sept. 18, 2020 release date.

It is also rumored the setting of the book will be changed from the Vietnam¬† War era, to a more modern setting. This could possibly set up a crossover between John Krasinski’s Jack Ryan series on Amazon, and this project. There is also said to be a Rainbow Six movie in the works, which is my favorite part of this story. Rainbow Six is one of about 3 and 1/2 books I’ve read in my life and I’ve always wanted to see it be adapted into either a movie or TV series.
