Wow, a DC movie that I didn’t find completely underwhelming and disappointing.
In Justice League, some of DC’s most famous superheroes including Batman, Flash, Wonder Woman,
Superman, Aquaman, and Cyborg, team up to stop Earth’s next great threat- A CGI video game character named Steppenwolf. Pretty sure it’s not the “Magic Carpet Ride” band but still waiting for confirmation on that.
Man, even my Top 10 lists are catching superhero fatigue. Having already done Top 10 Superhero Movies, Top 10 Movies in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and Top 5 Batman and Superman Movies, I’m running out of topics for these lists. So I’m scraping the bottom of the barrel and looking at the Top 10 Superheroes in movies (and a little Netflix). The main things I looked at when creating the list were the quality of movies they are featured in and how interesting/enjoyable I find the character.
Note: There may be minor spoilers, but nothing not given away in the trailer.
Man, this movie is brutal. Not really in the violent way, more so in the it’s terrible and a complete waste of a good idea way.
Batman v. Superman is the follow up to 2013’s Man of Steel and the second movie in the “DC Cinematic Universe”. It takes us to the aftermath of Superman’s (Henry Cavill) battle against General Zod in Man of Steel and shows us the consequences of having this God-like figure on Earth. Bruce Wayne, aka Batman, (Ben Affleck) lost some close friends and co-workers during the fight and sees Superman as a threat that must be dealt with. However a scheme by Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg) forces them and Wonder Woman to put aside their differences to face a new threat. I spent 5 minutes writing that summary of the plot, which I think is more time than the people who wrote the movie actually spent on it.
Here’s part 3 of my preparation for Batman v. Superman (part 1:Top 5 Batman and Superman movies, part 2: Man of Steel Review). How anyone could dislike this movie is beyond me. It’s by far the best superhero movie ever made and I’ll argue it is one of the best movies in general ever made.
The Dark Knight is the second installment of the Christopher Nolan Batman trilogy. It follows the titular character’s (Christian Bale) fight against the evil Joker (Heath Ledger).
With the highly anticipated Batman v. Superman coming out this weekend, I’m looking at my favorite Batman and Superman movies. Are there a lot more Batman movies (particularly the Nolan trilogy) on here than Superman movies? Yes. I like Batman a lot more. Sue me. Here’s the list, comment below with your favorites:
This always happens. I do a trailer review only for another one I want to talk about to come out a day later. Oh well, getting to the main point- Warner Bros must have fired the marketing person for this movie because this trailer is 2938493 times better than the last one we saw that gave away the whole movie. It opens with a beautiful fight with Batman taking out some baddies.
