Despite being a website designed by and for cops, a Top 10 Cop Movies list has yet to […]

According to IMDB, there is another small action film featuring Bruce Willis coming out this week because Bruce Willis will do literally any movie with guns and explosions these days.  That’s alright though because his incessant need to cash a paycheck gives me the opportunity to talk about my 10 favorite films of his. Yes, most of you already know what number 1 is:

In honor of the unfortunately very paint by numbers, average looking (despite an amazing cast) Triple 9 coming out this week, I’m taking a look at the best heist movies of all time.  The reason this is coming so late in the week is I was trying to give myself time to watch a few I had never seen.  Unfortunately I was too busy so there will be a few notable movies missing.  With that said, let’s get to it:

Top 10 lists will be a list of 10 movies that will be published once a week and will either have to do with a movie coming out that week or just what I want to do at the time.

At the end of my Top 10 Sci-fi Movies list last week, I teased a possible Top 10 Will Smith or a Top 10 something involving Christmas.  After a week of what I’m sure was much anticipation for you all, I’m here to announce I’ve decided to go with… neither of those.  I found a much more fun list to go with this week- Top 10 ’90s Action Movies.  This is obviously because of the release of the dreadful looking, incredibly unnecessary remake of a nearly perfect ’90s action movie- Point Break.  Where does the original end up on the list? Find out below.

Classic Movie Reviews are occasional posts in which I review a movie from the past. It might have to do with a movie coming out that week or just a personal favorite of mine. These reviews may contain spoilers.

die hard

After forcing myself to watch/rewatch the Hunger Games movies this week (look for a podcast this weekend and reviews next week), I needed to cleanse myself with some movies I think are actually good.  Die Hard was one of those (and I’m watching Top Gun as I write this).  Because of that I’ve decided to do a classic movie review on a movie that’s actually a classic, and also my favorite movie of all time.

Top 10 lists will be a list of 10 movies that will be published once a week and will either have to do with a movie coming out that week or just what I want to do at the time.

It’s a quiet week at the movie theaters in terms of new releases (no doubt the calm before the Hunger Games storm), so I couldn’t come up with a suitable Top 10 list this week based on those movies.  So instead I’m going to visit my favorite genre and era of movies and go with Top 10 ’80s action movies. This is also my first post-Liebster Award nomination list so I hope all of my new readers and followers enjoy.  This was by far one of the hardest lists yet to narrow down.

10. Beverly Hills Cop

– It features Eddie Murphy in his best movie role and is filled with action and comedy.  It very much deserves a spot.
