I’ve been to McDonalds plenty of times in my life. Did I ever care about how it was founded? Nope. Did this movie make me more interested? Ehhh… it tries.

The Light Between Oceans is a drama starring Michael Fassbender, who works on a small, lonely island lighthouse, and Alicia Vikander as his wife. After several miscarriages, their dream to have a baby seems hopeless. That is until a boat washes up on the shore carrying a dead man and a baby. They raise the baby as their own, only to find out her actual mother is still alive.
With Criminal (which I have already seen and reviewed here) coming out this weekend, I’m looking at the Top 10 Kevin Costner Movies. Yes, baseball movies do make the list… plenty of times.
I actually got to see this movie last week at a free screening, but decided to hold off on the review until the week of its release to make it feel more relevant and hopefully avoid any trouble I could get into from reviewing it too early.
Criminal is about an imprisoned psychopath (Kevin Costner) who is the perfect candidate for an experiment due to a traumatic brain injury he suffered as a child. This experiment involves the transfer of memories from a deceased CIA agent to his brain, giving him all sorts of abilities. The CIA needs him to use the memories and abilities to help with a serious national security issue.
